Ingredients:
Pomfret - 1 large fish cut into 4 to 5 slices
Chilli powder - 2tsp
Ginger garlic paste - tbs
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Peppercorns - 1 tbs crushed nicely
Tamarind paste - 1tsp
Curry leaves - few
Salt as required
Oil for frying
Preparation:
Wash the sliced pomfret well. Make a smooth paste of chilli powder, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, crushed peppercrons, tamarind paste and salt by adding few tsp of water. Marinate the fish with this paste for 20 to 30 mins. Take a frying pan add oil and fry the fish on medium heat until its done. Finally add the curry leaves and remove. Serve hot with steamed rice.
